Resolution of ReEvolvelution?
So it’s been 8 days since the New Year has passed. I’m feeling refreshed from all the photo shoots back in 2011, and I’m still trying to figure out how some people can do it for a living. Guess if it pays you well enough, tiredness is just part of the equation. So what have I been doing? I’ve been researching lots on creative lighting, and how to shoot indoor/outdoor portrait, and answer the first simple question. Do I actually need lighting? Is one source of light enough? Maybe one strobe is good enough? Yet, no matter how much I study, I would never be able to come up with the answer, until yes, you get down and dirty and try it for yourself. So the answer to that pondering will have to wait, and so in the mean-time, it’s back to video reviews + clips + you know, all the “boring” learning stuff.
So moving on, while that is set in motion, many people as of late that I’ve been talking to, no guesses for correctness, is that they ask the standard few questions. (1) How was the Christmas / New Year celebration. (2) What is your resolution for 2012. It’s like when the season changes, the common questions needs to change with the time, and if all else fails, just proceed with (3) How are you today?
Resolution, hmmm, I use to have a few. It used to be quite definitive. Like buy a car. Start a business. Start a photography fan page. Travel 4 destinations this year. All which I did follow on btw, because it’s so much easier then just ONE big one like lose weight. So what’s this year’s resolution? For me, this year, it all ends. The world’s coming to an end as well ain’t it? Well, not quite, I tried to think what would be the absolute thing that I want to achieve this year, but seriously it reveals blank.
For me, I would say the foundation of many thing’s have been laid out. Now it’s the journey. The growth of my platform. To grow in each area more then I did last year. This namely is in the sense of (1) Relationship, (2) Work, (3) Passion. Guess there’s no fix target, but more of a ReEvovlelution…what? Repeat. Re – Evolve – Resolution. To revamp my thought process, evolve and to cement my past resolution even further. To continue what I’ve started, rather then make new goals, and to improve one and each segment of my life.
I’ve started a business; then make more
I’ve started a photography page; then learn more
I’ve started to exercise more; then continue being healthy
I’ve started to play StarCraft II; to past the time, useless hobby
I’ve started a relationship; get married and be jolly
So you can see. I don’t have any resolution this year, it’s really a ReEvolvelution of past resolutions :)
So what’s your resolution?
