2012 started with a lull
So 2011 came and gone, and we welcome 2012. I would have love to say that 2012 started with a bang! & also lots of bing-bung-bong in the sky (you know fireworks), but it didn’t this time of a year. I was up in the highlands to enjoy the cool weather and usher in the new year, and only to be reminded, that just like my photography year, everything in nature is subjected to the destiny of our mother. Just like how many things in life are really out of our hands, so is our chances in our lives.
Someday’s we have a good day, and someday’s it’s hazy and everything thing’s seems to be shrouded by thick vapor. However, never give up, there’s always some light shining out of the window, and while I have my camera all set up for the big fiesta, you just go to take whatever opportunity that comes your way, and make the best out of it.
So here’s the shot that didn’t end up with a bang for my 2012 celebration, but I guess my moral of the story is, that “not everything goes your way, and sometimes under thick haze, look at the light that is shining through”
Will be back with more new techniques that I hope to pick up for 2012, as I will actively be trying to shoot indoors + some outdoors with some new lighting gears :)
